    Responsibilities

    • Provide operational oversight for the senior living communities within the assigned region while being vigilant about opportunities for operational improvement;
    • Provide supervision of community Executive Directors within the region; indirect supervision of other regional functions (health services, maintenance, food services, marketing);
    • Assist with recruitment, hiring and training of new Executive Director candidates;
    • Ensure adherence to Blue Harbor’s financial planning/reporting requirements; develop and manage multiple budgets; implement cost-saving initiatives and revenue generation strategies as required to meet/exceed financial goals for the communities and region; 
    • Implement strategies to ensure the delivery of high-quality resident care and services;
    • Ensure regulatory compliance for all communities within the region; support community efforts to ensure healthcare licenses are maintained in good standing;
    • Foster a culture consistent with Blue Harbor’s resident-centered mission and values;
    • Act as interim Executive Director as necessary to maintain continuity in resident care;

    Qualifications

    • B.S. degree in a related field
    • Minimum of 5 years of regional operations experience in senior care
    • Strong financial and operational abilities
    • Excellent interpersonal skills and management experience
    • Strong leadership skills
    • Proven track records focused on improving quality of health care services, maximizing revenue and building census, mentoring and rallying the staff, controlling expenses, increasing resident satisfaction, managing operations of region while continuously making improvements and recommendations
    • Proven marketing record and employee relations experience a plus
    • Available for extensive travel
