Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the community sales team to develop and implement the quarterly marketing action plan (QMAP) for community
  • Collaborate with community sales team with sales call planning and monitor effectiveness of outreach program
  • Develop and execute strategies to generate new qualified leads through focused, outreach sales calls to productive professional referral sources
  • Through community outreach activity, generate interest, identify new potential markets, and educate prospective residents and their families on the benefits of living in a senior living community
  • Ensure YARDI CRM database is used to track lead generation, current sales activities, prospect readiness, and referral source success in an accurate and timely manner
  • Maintain YARDI database with referral sales call records
  • Identify and report market trends that may indicate adjustments to the marketing strategy of the community
  • Advise Executive Director of any operational problems that may affect sales
  • Initiate and coordinate visits by influential persons and community groups to the community for marketing exposure
  • Develop network relationships with other professionals in the industry to enhance community awareness and promote services
  • Visit current residents in the hospital and in rehabilitation centers with the combined purpose of PR and opportunity for sales calls
  • Conduct home visits with residents and families as appropriate
  • Represent community at networking events and trade shows
  • Provide external presentations (i.e., to senior centers, hospital professionals, church and civic groups) to provide exposure and increase awareness of community in the marketplace
  • Work with corporate and marketing team to maintain social media and email based marketing for the community
  • Organize and promote special events such as theme parties and educational programs to generate traffic
  • Monitor department budget and expenditures

 

 

 

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience Requirements include the following:

  • Minimum three (3) years experience in sales, middle/management position for retirement community. assisted care community or related enterprise
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Formal education or specialized training in management, marketing, or sales
