Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

 

  • Partner with assisted living and memory care director to ensure community teams are well trained not just in providing care, but in creating healthy, personalized, and purposeful lifestyles for Blue Harbor residents.
  • Develop and implement customer experience training for all Blue Harbor employees.
  • Help create and oversee implementation of holistic activities program that is truly engaging for IL, AL, MC residents in all Blue Harbor communities. Engage community-based activity directors in this effort.
  • Review monthly financials and help identify areas of opportunity related to labor and supply costs.
  • Help develop memory care program and philosophy to help differentiate Blue Harbor from the competition. Work with AL/MC director to implement.
  • Help develop and implement revised assessment tool that capture resident care needs and personal preferences.
  • Conduct resident experience audits at communities and provide feedback to executive directors as needed.
  • Create program to engage resident family members in programs and activities in our communities. Create a sense of “family” in our communities.
  • Work closely with corporate dining services director to ensure our dining program is meeting the wants and needs of residents and taking advantage of new innovations in the culinary world.
  • Assist in the identification, implement, and ongoing maintenance of EHR platform that will be used at all Blue Harbor communities.

Qualifications

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS include the following:

 

  • 5-10 years of experience in senior housing leadership in operations, activities programming, and/or deliver of care.
  • College degree
  • Certifications and/or participation in industry organizations.
  • Uphold a strict level of confidentiality
  • Ability to travel as needed
