Blue Harbor Senior Living is looking for a Regional Health Services Director (Nurse) to oversee three buildings in New Hampshire. 


In collaboration with other Regional Health Services Director (RHSD) and Regional Directors of Operations (RDO), the New Hampshire Health Services Director will provide leadership, support and oversight to all health service staff and activities within their assigned region.  They will assure the highest level of quality care to residents, compliance with governmental regulations, and a high quality of work life for staff.

  • Design, direct, audit, and facilitate the Health Services Programs for the State of NH communities in accordance with the quality and productivity standards, policies, procedures and action plans approved by FHC Property Management, in compliance with all state, local, and federal rules, regulations, and laws applicable to the operations and/or licensure of the Communities and their personnel
  • Coordinate and communicate with the RDO and other regional and home office personnel, along with the Executive Director at each community to maintain a holistic perspective of service and care. The NHHSD is expected to lead by example and make certain that the programs and services maximize each resident’s quality of life, identity, interests, abilities, and preferences
  • Review and update as necessary the Resident Assessment forms, Resident Charts, Evaluation reports, Care Plan forms and other utilized reporting forms used in all communities
  • Develop and perform in-services and training seminars including but not limited to: policy/procedures, Infection Control to include any state recommendations above and beyond the current curriculum
  • Conduct regular site visits across the assigned region and sometimes beyond. Conduct a closing conference with the ED on each visit and submit a site visit report to the RDO describing goals, objectives, activities, projects completion’s, recommendations and follow-up for each Community


  • Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in supervisory or management position in a hospital, skilled nursing facility, or assisted living community.
  • A bachelor’s degree preferred in Nursing or Gerontology, Registered Nursing certification and experience, accompanied by formal education or training in the specialized field
  • Current RN license in good standing in the state of NH
