Blue Harbor is a relatively new, but very experienced senior housing management company based in Portland, OR.  We are doing great things in senior housing and have plans to do even greater things.  To help us get there, we are looking for an outstanding National Sales Director to join our team.  If you are a strong leader that loves training, is a great mentor, and can work collaboratively with the executive team, regional teams, and community teams to build a successful sales culture, you would be a great fit.

Be a Leader

  • You set the tone for building a world-class sales culture at all Blue Harbor Communities.

Training and Mentoring

  • Develop, implement, and maintain the Blue Harbor sales training and mentoring program.
  • Provide opportunities for all Blue Harbor sales teams to get the instruction and build the skill necessary to achieve community and company sales goals.

Setting Expectations

  • Assist executive team in developing annual sales goals and expectations for each community by working with regional operations and sales leaders.
  • Monitor monthly and quarterly sales effectiveness and closing ratios.
  • Develop, implement, and track effective outreach program to be executed by community sales teams.
  • Host a quarterly sales strategy meeting with CEO, EVP, RDOs, and RSLs to discuss sales progress against goals and areas of opportunity.


  • Help us find great sales team members for our communities.


  • Collaborate with EVP on marketing strategy and execution.


Here Some Of The Things We Are Looking For:


  • A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or Communication is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years previous sales experience with strong senior housing background preferred.
  • 2 years of managing multi-unit portfolios.
  • Independent living, assisted living and memory care experience is a plus.
  • Open on location.  We prefer you live in the Pacific Northwest.
